What is apostille attestation?
  1. In the India, all 28 states and 8 union territories issue by the MEA india.
  2. In 1961, many countries joined together to create a simplified method of “legalizing” documents for universal recognition.
  3. Members of the conference, referred to as the Hague Convention, adopted a document referred to as an Apostille that recognize by all member countries.
  4. Since 23 November 2006 , the India has been part of the 1961 Hague Convention abolishing the Requirement of Legalization.
  5. The Apostille Convention provides the simplified certification of public (including notarized) documents to be used in countries that have joined the convention.
  6. Documents destined for use in participating countries and their territories certifie by one of the officials in the jurisdiction in which the document execute.
  7. The Apostille Convention requires that all Apostille’s be numbered consecutively, with individual numbers applied to each Apostille issue.
  8. The recognized standard Apostille contains a seal and below 9 to 17 mandatory references:
  9. name of country from which the document emanates,           
  10. name of person signing the document,   
  11. the capacity in which the person signing the document act, 
  12. in the case of unsigned documents,   
  13. the name of the authority that has affixed the seal or stamp,     
  14. place of certification date of certification,     
  15. the authority issue the certificate,
  16. certificate of number, 
  17. seal or stamp of authority of issue certificate and signature of authority  issue certificate.
